Saw another small sluice that I would like to get some feedback on. It is the Gold Saver Sluice put out by the Roaring Camp folks. It is small, and has red primer covered steel riffles that are just straight piece of 1/8 steel set at a slight angle from plumb. The demo guy has the water running real fast and quite a pitch to the sluice. He was running what I call aquarium gravels with very little sand or other fines, and even though the water was coming tumbling down, he was catching fine and bulky gold with each run.
Has anyone used this in a creek? How does it perform with bank run material, or classified material or slower water?
It was a very low price, so it is not much a of a risk, but having bought 4 sluices so far, I am reluctant to buy another to test it.
