Very nice site. I think your visitors will be interested to learn there are a couple of brothers who live in Apache Junction, Az that claim in a new book to have solved the Peralta Stone Tablets and located the location of the Lost Dutchman Mine. Michael and William Johnson took 10 trips into the supers and show 56 color photos of what they found. There is a map in the book that was traced from an actual picture taken by them. Please visit the books site: www.spiritsinthemountain.com This is very real and you can go to the area and do some prospecting. Sub title: Very, Very Dangerous, Find the Heart, Find the Treasure. In the book they have many newspaper articles about their efforts to protect the area for future generations. Maybe you could help with this endeavor in Arizona. Come out and film the site.

It’s good to see other videos, Tom Massey doesn’t seem to be producing new stuff on the Outdoor channel it’s all edits of the Buzzard’s stuff now. Best of Luck to you Joey, I will check in for new programs. Hopefully you can get a spot on Cable TV too!! People burn out on the sales pitch for the GPAA as much as I enjoy the fact it introduced me to the activity, there is much more too it.
There are a lot of gold prospecting opportunities around this great country, not just in Alaska and California.
With the price of travel, It is hard to justify for many recreational prospectors anything more then a once in a life time trip to go to one of the GPAA or other trips.
Have you thought about doing a program on Moore Creek, or Chicken in Alaska?
Also, the plains and Rocky Mountain range is closer to home for many of us.
For me I get in my truck and drive 40 - 100 miles and can fine glacial gold. It’s generally size of the head or point of a pin, but it is color. I’ve been in one locations with 40+ colors to the pan. I ain’t gonna say where!!
Gold is truly where you find it, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, it’s a matter of looking.
Boo Coo is right, I appreciate him saying what he said. If you go on a claim and dig, fill in your holes and pack out your trash. I was on a claim in Wyoming and the claim director was filling in a very large hole someone had left. Trash laying around and the USFS was blowing a gasket. If you pack it in Pack it out. As much as I detest ecowhacks, they don’t need any more ammunition then they already have.
