Anyone out there that has used the Whites TDI metal detector? Do you like it? Is it as good as the minelab 4500, or is it a scaled back version of the 4500 and Whites attempt to get a piece of the pulse induction market.

Researching the same question, I too am looking at purcahsing my 1st MD.
I am considering a ML 4500 or the White's TDI Pro.
I have researched a couple other sites regarding which of the two would be a better purchase.
Everybody pretty much says the same thing - They are both a great MD, but they also have their differances on how they detect and find gold. Again, it what your preferances are in what you pay for and how the MD works for you. So no real hard and true facts/answers to the number 1 question of; which MD is the better purcahse- So I am still left undecided, $4,500.00 for a MineLab or $1,800.00 for a TDI Pro.
